Our first day in Rome is in the books! We arrived mid-afternoon so we did not have too much time to explore the city but will have ample time over the next few days. Afterwards, we are off to the Amalfi Coast which will be nothing short of spectacular. I have also started to work on a few posts from some summer traveling back in the states but life has been a little busy lately so I am a little behind.
That being said, even though we only had half a day today, we were still able to hit Italy's trifecta:
