Off to Asia!
After eating breakfast on Christmas morning, Samantha and I headed to JFK to embark upon our two week adventure in Asia for our actual honeymoon. Our first stop will be 4 nights in Cambodia, then 3 nights in Sri Lanka, followed by 7 nights in the Maldives.
It was about a 27 hour door to door trip which included a 15 hour flight to Seoul and then a 5 hour flight to Cambodia, yet we finally made it to the first leg of our trip in Siem Reap. The highlight of our first stop will be exploring the famed temples of Angkor Wat so there will be plenty to post about...and that's only day one and two. Not to mention, with 20 hours of flying time, I was able to catch up on some much overdue posts from some previous trips so more to come on that later as well.
